AVERY CAMP 2010

What a wonderful time we had this summer just hanging out. We did so many fun things and Grandpa and I just loved hanging out with our girl. Besides just playing with Grandma and doing crafts and playing games, we had some adventures. We walked on the river path to the dollar store and on the way we found baby frogs. You love 'creatures' so we decided to catch them. Grandma had to find a cup with a lid in the trash can, then we went into the dollar store and bought a container to take them home in. Avery, you were so panicked all the way home that the frogs would jump out! We made it home and you quickly made a home for them. We played 'Homeschool' and looked up lots of frog information on the internet and printed fun activities for you. I wish the picture I took would have come out better so you could see the frog in its bucket.

One day we met my friend Dian Nelsons granddaughters that are twins, and we played at McDonald's. Another day we went with Mommie and sisters and friends to a Dairy Farm. It was hot, but you sure had fun seeing the Cows.

Chick-fil-A was having a special night to come dressed in a cow costume and get a free meal. We made a paper costume and Grandma and you got free food. We could not get Grandpa to dress up as a cow even for FOOD (o: That evening we went to the fair grounds to see a free concert and you sure loved dancing to the music.

Avery...you are such a Joy to Grandma and I can't wait to do it again next summer.
