What fun it was to have Flat Avery visit at her Grandma's house for a week. She got to play with Grandma's Day Care kids, which included her little sister Shaylee. She also went shopping and out to eat here in Longmont. I think the thing she enjoyed the most was going camping with Grandma and Grandpa. We went all the way up to a campground on Kenosha Pass. That is really high up in the mountains. 9997 feet elevation. The campground was right next to trail called the Colorado trail. That is pretty cool because it is a 500 mile trail from Denver to Durango. Avery really wanted to try the trail out. She heard there is a really cool train in Durango that is called a narrow Gauge Train. Like the trains that were used a long time ago. We told her it would take us many weeks to walk that far. Avery really liked the camp fire. She likes to make Smores with marshmallows and chocolate and gram crackers. She got to see her Uncle Tyson who is a Sheriffs Deputy in Fairplay Colorado. She always asks if she can try his handcuffs.

We had a great week, but Flat Avery needed to be sent on to the next adventure. She was on her way to see her cousins that live in Phoenix Arizona. Maybe she will see a really big cactus or a Palm tree.
